Letter to My Grade 12 Self

Dear grade 12 me,

How are you? You are reading a letter that's written by yourself 3 years ago. Do you still remember? This is the first assignment we got for the Discovery Time class. Yes, you probably do. We had to write a letter to our grade 12 selves; in other words, to you.
So what's happened in these three years? Are you still at Sullivan Heights? Or did you decide to go to Semiahmoo for the IB program after all? Whatever your choice, I think I'll probably understand; it's also me making this decision, right?
What did you do these years? Are you still a straight A student? I hope so, or it wouldn't look very good. Are you still taking band? I believed I was going to take it throughout high school. What about the Robotics team? Are you still in it? Did you guys go to the Skills Canada competition? What did you build? Were you guys champions? Second place? Are you still going this year?
Oh, I asked so many questions. It's just that I want really badly to know. I hope you have found what you really want to do now, be it math, science, engineering or any other stuff. In any case, I wish you the best of luck, wishing myself also, have a lot of friends, be successful in whatever you do, and be the star I always wanted to be. I know we can do it!

        Sincerely,
Richard Liu

  1. Great letter Richard!! I love the robotics team. IB programs are very cool and challenging so if you leave us I will understand too. What instrument do you play? I used to play all of the brass plus sax. How's the video project going?
